WebOs in HP TouchPad

Hewlett-Packard announced that they touchpad tablet will be released to the market with prices ranging from $ 500, or the same as Apple's iPad 2. Similarly, as reported by the Telegraph on Saturday (11/06/2011).

The plan, the touchpad will begin to be marketed in the United States, France and Germany on 1 July. While countries like Ireland, Italy, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore still have to wait longer. HP will begin to pre-order on June 19 for 16GB and 32GB models.

Was first introduced in February, HP's boast that the touchpad is capable of being a tablet number one, beating the iconic Apple tablet, iPad.

"In the PC world, with the difference in HP products and competitors, we become number one. In the world of tablets, we will be better than the holder of the throne of number one. We call it the number one plus," said Senior Vice President of HP Europe Eric Cador at a press conference in Cannes, May.

Although not triggered bluntly, it's no secret that the current IPAD is still a tablet with a worldwide bestseller.

Touchpad with its 9.7-inch screen will use webOS operating system, which ranks fifth of the OS market. As is known, the OS market is still dominated by Apple's IOS and Google's Android.
